Bedroom Makeover

Ok everyone.. the time has come for me to officially start making over our sad, sad master bedroom.  It's only been 14 years in the making!  I'ts so easy for me to put off that room because I can just throw crap in there and close the door.  No one sees it - except for me, and I've finally had enough.  So I will be re-doing the whole thing.  And I'm going to do it super cheap. *i hope*

I will be using stuff I've already got, but will be re-purposing.  I've got alot of different knick knacky items stored in the garage.  So this will be a great project to pull out some of that stuff.  I am going to be thrifting, garage saling and flea marketing it up.  :)

I will hopefully be revealing bits and pieces as I do them, until the one final reveal!  I don't really have a deadline for getting it all finished.  It's gonna be a work on it here and there when I get time kind of project.  But if it turns out how it looks in my head, it's gonna be fantastic!  LOL

In the meantime, here are some pics from pinterest that are my inspiration...
Enjoy

In case you can't tell, the color scheme I've decided to go with will be greys, yellows, corals, and some turquoise...

You've pinned some of my favourite Pinterest pics - I especially love those gorgeous timber headboards! (I just popped through from NatashainOz' twitter feed :) ).

Nice selections! I love the coral chest especially. The wooden headboards are so cool-good re-use of timber or pallets. Can't wait to see the end product!
Visiting from Natasha's P&S party.
